Terms of service

Wubbin gives everyone one small task a day. It's a free, for-fun service run by one person. There's no paid plan and no guarantee it will run forever, though we hope it does.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Wubbin. By using it, you confirm that you are. If you're under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is okay with you using it.

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email, so keep access to your email secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. One account per person. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.

Tasks are suggestions. You decide whether a task is safe and sensible for you to do, and you do it at your own risk. If a task isn't right for you, skip it or swap in something similar. Nothing here is professional advice of any kind.

Any notes, links, or photos you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them back to you so the service works. You're responsible for what you upload — don't upload anything illegal, anything that isn't yours to share, or anything that violates someone else's rights or privacy.

Please don't:

• Break the law or use Wubbin to harm others.
• Try to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Access other people's accounts or data.
• Upload harmful, hateful, or abusive content.

We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service.

Wubbin is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free, or that the tasks will suit everyone. We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Wubbin and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from doing any task. Because Wubbin is free, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, which is zero.

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. It's part of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Colorado, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continuing to use Wubbin after a change means you accept the new terms.
